INQ28 Adepta Soritas Novitiate

All has been quiet on the Tony of Nurgle front for almost two months. I have, however built a few models to represent Adepta Sororitas Novitiates (of which this is one) for use in games of Inquismunda. Please note that I cannot take full credit for these builds, as I based them on something I'd seen in an article on Bell of Lost Souls some time back. because I thought they looked cool, so I'd like to extend my thanks to whoever came up with the idea of using Dream Forge's Eisenkern Assault Troops in this way. They are combined with Statuesque miniatures heroic scale female heads, and Games Workshop Space Marine bolters.

I'd also point out that this is my first proper attempt at doing non-Caucasian flesh tones. I'm fair-to-crap at Caucasian flesh tones as it is, so I thought I'd throw caution to the wind and run the risk of accidentally offending people by attempting Southern Asian skin. I really couldn't say whether it looks authentic or not, and I really hope that I haven't offended anyone. I'm trying to do a good thing here, as minorities and females are woefully under-represented on the grimdark table tops of the 41st Millenium...

It's also my first attempt in quite a long time to give a model a relatively clean finish. Normally, obviously, I'm all doom and gloom, and muck and rust and this and that and the other. But, what the hell, right? Thought I'd give it a whirl.

I've possibly ballsed up the blade of the sword, though.

In terms of rules, I thought it would be a fairly strong idea for the armour to be similar to space marine scout armour, giving a 4+ save. I also thought that as these sisters will be mere trainees (another parallel to scouts), that I might make them take a leadership each turn, which, if they fail, they would be forced to pray (unless assaulted by an enemy) until their next turn. Obviously, I'm open to suggestions here, and it'll be up for discussion amongst my gaming group too...
