Herald of Nurgle on Giant Mollusc

Ladies. Gentlemen. I apologise for being so quiet on the old blogging front over the past few months or more.

Truth be told, parenting is a tough old lark.

Anyways, behold this object that I have managed to make. It's based of the Scibor giant snail (out of production I think - I ended up getting it from a FLGS based in France) and the Horticulous Slimux body. Other bits include a Blight Kings head and the weird crate / backpack thing from Festus the Leechlord and a shield from the chaos knights. The feelers are chopped of a bit of the previous incarnation of the Beast of Nurgle. All else is either Nurgle icons from various kits and fine jewellry chain (I got about 5m of this for £2 on ebay once).

Ork kill team update: ammo runtz

In an effort to bring a small but drawn out project to a close, I opted to plough through a bunch of ammo runtz to round things out. Nowt sparkling, I'm afraid, but they'll do the job well enough.

One of these is straight out of the Nobz kit, the other 2 are kitbashed from gnoblar trappers with grot heads. Like the rest of the kill team, they've been mounted on Scibor resin bases.

Ork Kill Team update - Spag Boll the Tank Busta!

Painted up this gent the other day, who will be playing the role of a tank busta in my ork kill team.

The minaiture is by Kromlech, and the base is by Scibor.

Look at his gormless expression of glee. And his lovely remote controlled bucket of scrap metal and explosives.

Ork Kill Team mini-update

This is a great miniature from Kromlech. It's basically an Ork dressed as commissar. He'd probably fit in really well in a Blood Axe army.

When I spotted him on eBay, I knew I had to have him in the Kill Team.  As yet, I need to decide on a name and a role for him, so watch this space...
