Well, somehow, this blog finally made it to 200 posts. Thanks to everyone that's been a reader and/or follower thus far.
Anyway, a few days back, I finished the first of my 2 heavy servitors. Really pleased with the flesh area in particular. I also like how cumbersome and clunky he looks - which sits at odds with his lightning claw.
Nice! Is it based on a Blightking?
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is - great kit to base stuff off. At first it doesn't seem like it, but a little thinking just outside the box and it gives plenty of fun options!
DeleteCertainly looks based off of a Blightking to me.
ReplyDeleteLooks great - all mucky and barely serviceable for it.
In the grim darkness of the 41st millenium it's hard to find a reliable cleaner! Haha!
DeleteGreat work on reaching 200 posts! That is quite a milestone!
ReplyDeleteThat servitor look awesome. I particularly like the look of the heavy bolter mounted in place of his arm. All of the little cords and feeds connecting from it and his backpack (and head) look great and add a lot of depth to the model. The grimy and worn color scheme fits the model really nicely too and helps distance him from his Putrid Blightking foundation.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks Adam. It was great to let my imagination go wild (to an extent) - the almost blank faceplate seemed to suggest he needed a way to see, so I tubed his head up to the heavy bolter, which has a big old optical scope of some kind on it
DeleteCongrats T, looking forward to 200 more!
ReplyDeleteNice or at least dirty work lol. . .
ReplyDeleteThe dirtier the better! More grot = more fun!
